52nd General Council of the Reformed Episcopal Church

L-R: Rev. Michael Mobley, Alyssa Mobley, Rev. Canon Brad Cunningham, and delegates Nancy & Ralph Robison, all standing in front of the organ (c.1880) at Church of our Lord, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

From October 22-25, our church celebrated its 135th anniversary with a wonderful general council in Victoria, British Columbia. Although the primary function of a General Council (which happens only once every three years) is to conduct business, there is also much worship and fellowship. This year's preacher was the Rev. Dr. Justin Terry, Dean of Trinity Episcopal School For Ministry in Ambridge, PA. Although business meeting are usually dull, our business meeting was so fantastic that dozens of parishes joined our church and more are expected to do the same.

If you would like to hear more about what happened at general council, please attend the adult Sunday school class on November 1.
